Abu Dhabi – 27 December 2006 - Mubadala Development Company today announced the selection of Oger Abu Dhabi LLC for the AED 1.5 billion construction package of UAE University’s new campus development in the city of Al Ain. Al Hikma Development Company, a subsidiary of Mubadala Development, is mandated to develop and deliver the new campus on a BOOT (Build Own Operate and Transfer) basis.

Ras Tanura is the third in a series of four CoGen plants to have achieved this major milestone. Ras Tanura is built and operated on a 20 yrs. Saudi Oger is pleased to announce that as of today 28/05/2006 the Shedgum CoGen plant (305 MW, and 1.25 million lbs. of steam per hour) has successfully achieved commercial operation. Shedgum is the second plant in a series of four CoGen plants to have achieved this milestone. Shedgum is built and operated on a BOOT basis by Tihama Power Generation Co. (Tihama is jointly owned by Saudi Oger and International Power of the UK). The client for the four CoGen plants is Saudi Aramco.
